week's issue, we were transported back
to the West coast and its balmy wea-ther
especially i n the sprmg. But
maybewe've been hving m the.east
SO.long that local patriotism in favor
of the coast has v.-aned. In any event
we couldn't help thmking that maybe
Guihver is the one to blame for the
weather conditions.
For about two weeks v.-e have been
baskmg m balmy. weather here m
Sudbury with the temperature hover-ing
in the low fifties. Of course we
will recall that wh€n Gulliver had the
habit of standmg up to nature in
Ontario instead of.escaping to the
coast, blizzards were common in On­tario
even in April. ,
On the other hand, when we were
residents of the coast w e c a n recall
basklng i n the warm spring sunshlne
In March when the thermometer re-gistered
80 in the shade. .AVhat could
have happened? Could Gulliver be
the one to influence such a change?
But in any case, we're willing. to
take a chance on the consequences
should Gulliver decide to drop in on
us some day. Meanwhile do not allow
the splendours of the coast to infnnge
on your reporting.

last issue. At the time we justcouldn't
resist it, but having thought it over
we have. repented our deed and feel
we were a bit harsh on the lad. Per-haps

when he visits Sudbury. We'll take
