She received her education i n Graminia Public School the
Winterburn High School, and furthered her education at McTavish
Business College i n Edmonton.
In 1942, she married Robert Wild and they were blessed
three g i r l s , Doreen and twins, Joyce and Joan. They have two
g r a n d c h i l d r e n .
Mrs. Ida Wild joined the Winterburn Women's I n s t i t u t e in
1947. She served as s e c r e t a r y , on the s o c i a l committee and she is
a w i l l i n g and good worker in a l l I n s t i t u t e work.
Her other i n t e r e s t s are i n community work. She has been
president of the United Church l a d i e s group, she c u r l s and takes
a keen i n t e r e s t in 4 H work. She enjoys p a i n t i n g , sewing and doing
p e t i t e point.
The Winterburn Women's I n s t i t u t e presented Ida with a Life
membership on Way 14, 1975 at Winterburn's 60th Anniversary.
