Two o f the sons served with the navy i n World War
Two. Of the f i v e c h i l d r e n , Harold and Thomas now reside
i n Edmonton; Stanley i n O l i v e ; Ivor and Thora ( Mrs. Stanley
' White) i n the Heatherdown d i s t r i c t . There are s i x grandc
h i l d r e n . Mr. and Mrs. L i v i n g s t o n e celebrated t h e i r Golden
Wedding Anniversary i n August 1956.
Mrs. Livingstone i s an accomplished singer, and has
f r e q u e n t l y been c a l l e d upon t o be s o l o i s t at church, V/ omen's
I n s t i t u t e and other f u n c t i o n s . Eor many years she has been
an a c t i v e worker i n the Onoway U n i t e d Church, of which she
i s now s e c r e t a r y - t r e a s u r e r . U n t i l h e a l t h prevented, she was
an ardent c u r l e r . She i s always w i l l i n g t o g i v e f r e e l y of h er
time and energy t o these and other co: muni ty a c t i v i t i e s.
The Livingstones are a r e a l asset to the community and
we were proud to present Mrs. L i v i n g s t o n e with a L i f e Membership
at the J u l y 1956 meeting of the Onoway Women's I n s t i t u t e.
