MRS. JOHN HADDOCK
Mrs. Maude Haddock was born i n W e l l i n g t o n , Kansas, on
November 22, I884, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Hubbard.
She attended the schools of Wellington and i n 1908 married
John Haddock.
The Haddocks l i v e d s u c c e s s i v e l y i n E v a n s v i l i e , Indiana,
f o r two years; i n W i c h i t a , Kansas f o r one year; i n C r a i k,
Saskatchewan f o r two years and f i n a l l y i n 1913 moved to the
Shining Bank d i s t r i c t of A l b e r t a where they homesteaded. A
daughter, Martha, was born i n 1915.
Mrs. Haddock ran a Half- way House supplying meals to
