MRS. LENA KILLA3Y
Lena was " born i n Bawlf, A l b e r t a . She married a farmer
and they have a family of four - two boys and two g i r l s . At
the prsent time, they have t h i r t e e n grandchildren. In 19& 5
they sold t h e i r farm and r e t i r e d to Camrose. Lena found her
free time was too convenient to f r e e b a b y - s i t t i n g , so she
took part- time employment a t Eaton's order o f f i c e and she
has worked f o r s i x years.
In 1951 » Lena became a charter member of the Heather
Brae Branch. For 12 years, she was Women's I n s t i t u t e G i r ls
Club Supervisor. Lena was D i s t r i c t Director from I969 " to
1973 i n D i s t r i c t Three. Under the sponsorship of the
A l b e r t a Women's I n s t i t u t e , she attended Leadership Courses
i n Banff.
Apart from her a c t i v e a s s o c i a t i o n with the A l b e r ta
Women's I n s t i t u t e , Lena i s a member of Legion; she worked
with the Red Cross; a member of Skudesness Lutheran Church
and a member of the Camrose A g r i c u l t u r e Society. Her
