Transcript, Sundre Round Up - book Donated By Women's Institute The Eagle Valley Women's Institute has donated a book outlining the history of the organi­zation to the Sundre Municipal Library. " The Story of the Alberta Women's Institute" by Catherine C. Cole and Judy Larmour tells the story of Alberta's chapter of the WI move­ment. Founded 100 years ago in Ontario by Adelaide Hunter Hoodless, the Women's Institute is dedi­cated to promoting women's rights and issues facing women and their families. The Alberta Women's Institute was founded in 1909, with the organiza­tion being active in the Sundre area since 1915. " We'll make good use of it, " said Library staff member Gwen Parker.
