Description | Thomas's life and education are discussed including Tom's interest as a youth in radio and technology which lead to a career in the field. In 1938 he married Helen Leicht. They had two children: Corinne and Wayne. Helen's brother, Herman Leicht, worked for the Radio Electric Service which was renamed McLean's Electric in the 1950s. An expansion into china, giftware and jewellery came in the 1960s. The business was located in the former Culls/Mills Pharmacy on 50th Street. |
