Hovv vvould one distinguish a gene-tical- ly engineered virus or bacterium from a normal one one that perhaps had never been noticed before? And vvith in-dustr- ial concerns villing to cover up accidents or re-porte- dly even present faked data on the danger of these products hovv could an acci-dent- al spill of a dangerous new organism be distinguished from an attack?
