              Muriel Bronson Memorial Prize
This award has been made possible through the generosity of Miss
Ellen Bronson, in memory of Mrs. Muriel Bronson, for many years a
member of the Women's Institutes of Pontiac County, Quebec.
$ 100 to be awarded annually to a Women's Institute member
interested in furthering her education:
1. Preferably through completion of a University Credit Course in
Language, History, Horticulture ... OR
2. Taking a course at a Community College or University such as
( a) Technique for teachers of adults
( b) Psychology of adult development and learning
( c) Community development
( d) Early childhood education
( e) Effective parenting.
Regulations
1. Applicant must have been a WI member for five years.
2. Applicant to submit a letter containing the following:
( a) Information re personal data relating to application;
( b) Outline of training program;
( c) Expected benefits applicant will receive from training.
3. A letter of recommendation from local branch.
4 Application to be received in the A. W. I. Provincial Office
No later than January 25, 1993 6604 82 Ave., Edmonton
AB T6B 0E7
5. Successful applicant will be notified by the Committee Chairman
by April 15, with official announcement to be made at the Board
meeting.
