OBITUARIES VANLANDUYT - MRS. ANDREA a resident of Stettler, AB passed away at Edmonton, AB on Thursday, April 19, 2001 at the age of 70 years. Andrea was born to Andre and Marie Maenhout Aug. 27, 1930 in Holland. She married August Vanlanduyt and immigrated to Canada in 1954. In 1980, they moved to Stettler where she volunteered her time extensively to her community. Andrea is survived by her four loving children Nellie ( Mark) Sobkow of Lamont, AB, Ron { Debbie} Van Landuyt of Botha, AB, Kathleen ( Jack) Remyn of Ponoka, AB and Michael ( Toni) Van Landuyt of Clive, AB, 14 grandchildren, Brian, Lisa, Steven and Kevin Sobkow, Chelsey, Whitney, Brice and Travis Van Landuyt, Brad and Brent Remyn, Samantha, Nicolette, Rebecca and Mackenzie Van Landuyt, one sister Margaret ( Camiel) Dooleage of Castor, AB, and eight other siblings in Holland and Belgium. She was predeceased by her husband August in 1973 and one sister. A Prayer Vigil Service was held at Brennen Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, April 23, 2001 at 7: 30 p. m. with the Mass of Christian Burial taking place at the Christ- King Catholic Church on Tuesday, April 24, 2001 at 10: 30 a. m. with Rev. Nester Watir as celebrant. The interment took place at the Lake View Cemetery, Stettler, AB. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be made to STARS Air Ambulance, the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of donor's choice in care of Brennen Funeral Home, P. O.
