Cancer Canvas -$ 180 00 Children's Garden Club— Twenty of the twenty- nine registered gardens were judged by Beth Smith Winners of the four categories were: Morgan MacFadyen, Jackie Clutton, Alex Clutton and Linda Holt. The Special Competition was ( iourj. s and judged at the Halloween party W. I. Corner - The comer was again attractive with the usual flowers and the branch paying for the summer grass cutting by Les Snider Volunteers kept the flowers attractive Coffee Party - Sixty- eight attended the annual event with $ 385.50realized Vera Jeffery, Blanche Cunningham and Ella Sawyer were winners of the draws. FWIC Volunteer by the Luck of the Draw was Vera Pierce Her name was submitted to Constituency level Farmers' Market Sponsored by PLWI at the Pine Lake BiLo for 12 Fridays from June- Sept , 2001 76 tables were rented for a branch profit of $ 380.00 from 92 volunteer hours. Jelly Project - Kathleen Lawrence filled orders as they were received ( Sixteen sets of four plus 15 individual jars) Crossroads Ag Fair - PLWI sponsored the handicraft section. A prize was presented to Phyllis Mangan. Farm Safety Harvest Supper - Marion Brown, Kathleen Lawrence and Marilyn Wattenbarger donated food and helped serve food at the outdoor supper served to workers of the GROW project. Proceeds from the " Crystal Wheat" will go towards the construction of the Farm Safety Building. Tour of Recycling ( Waste Management) Plant in Red Deer HUB Horse Race Nite - A home made willow basket made by Bruce Elliott and filled with three jars of jelly was auctioned as the branch contribution
